The waist is measured at the High/Natural Waist - the narrowest part of your waist.

AMERICAN SIZE

Please note, that our (European) sizes often run smaller than American (usually US & Canadian). This is especially important to note if you order Punk Rave or RQ-BL brands clothing.

• If you usually wear American sizes M or L, please consider ordering one size up.
• If you usually wear American sizes XL and up, please consider ordering one size up for stretchy clothing, two sizes up for non-stretchy clothing & coats.
• If you wear American XS or S sizes, please order the same sizes as you wear.

SIZE IN INCHES

We are sorry that we do not always provide sizes in inches. Here, in Europe, we use a metric size system therefore we write all sizes in centimeters or meters.
If you can't understand size in cm, contact us via chat, send your bust/waist/hips, weight, and height, and link to the clothing you want to buy. We will help you convert your size to cm and advise on the best-fit size for you.

 

HOW TO CONVERT CM TO INCHES?

Convert centimeters into inches by multiplying by 0.3937. For example, 66 cm x 0.3937 inch = 26 inch

Check the stretchiness of the fabric in the "Product Details" tab, and choose smaller for a tight fit and stretchy fabric garment, or choose a larger size for a comfortable fit and non/slightly-stretchy fabric garment.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MEN'S AND WOMEN'S CLOTHING

A lot of our clothing is unisex or gender-neutral. Welcome to shop for gender-neutral & unisex clothing here.
When shopping, please note, Unisex & Men's clothing is usually 2 sizes larger than Women's clothing.

If you have a men's body and you are shopping for clothing designed for women's bodies or vise versa - please consider ordering 2 sizes up (or down). However, always check size charts!

Men's and women's sizes are different by cut & pattern.

Women's clothing has smaller shoulders & waist; there is a larger difference between waist and hips; the chest is designed for bust.

Men's clothing has wider shoulders, the difference between waist & hips is not so visible, chest & waist circumference is usually the same, sleeves are wider than women's garments.

DOUBLE SIZES (XS-S, S-M, etc.)

Double, or combined sizes mean that the garment is made out of stretchy fabric, or the size is adjustable.

For example, an XS-M size stretchy knitted top would suit sizes XS, S, M.

If you are in between S & M sizes, and the garment comes in combined sizes such as XS-S, M-L; choose size XS-S for a tight fit or size M-L for normal/loose fit.

FREE SIZE, ONE SIZE

"Free", or also known as "one-size" garment means that the item is only made in one size.

• Free Size clothing suits best body sizes from Extra-Small to Medium (XS, S, M). Depending on the design, it usually suits sizes Large too, but might be too tight for size XL. Usually, free-sized clothes are too small for XXL and Plus sizes. For more information please always refer to the product photo, description and lay-flat sizes.
• Free Size Women's clothing suits women's bodies sized from XS to L; men's bodies sized from XS to S.
• Free Size Unisex or Men's clothing suits women's bodies sized from S to XXL; men's bodies sized from XS to XL.
• Free Size accessory fits any body size. Depending on the design and product type, it might be slightly too loose on XS sizes and slightly too tight on Plus sizes.

BODY MEASURE GUIDE

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR BODY

Please, get the measuring tape, and don’t forget to keep it tight but comfortable while measuring your body. Measurements are more accurate if done by someone else.  

1. SHOULDERS LENGTH: Measure the straight line between the top point of your shoulders.
2. ARM CIRCUMFERENCE: Measure around your biceps (at the fullest part).
3. BUST CIRCUMFERENCE: Measure around your body, under your arms, and over the fullest part of your bust. Dear Ladies, for the best fit, please measure your bust when wearing a bra.
4. UNDERBUST CIRCUMFERENCE: Measure around your body, right under your bust.
5. NATURAL (HIGH) WAIST CIRCUMFERENCE: Measure around your body at the natural waistline (usually 1-2 cm above the belly button).
6. LOW WAIST CIRCUMFERENCE: Measure around your body 3-5 cm under the natural waistline.
7. HIPS CIRCUMFERENCE: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
8. THIGH CIRCUMFERENCE: Measure around the fullest part of your thigh.
9. CALF CIRCUMFERENCE: Measure around the fullest part of your calf.

HOW TO MEASURE GARMENT LAY FLAT

Lay the garment flat and spread it evenly on the straight, even, and hard surface. Smooth out any wrinkles. Measure the straight lines.
For trousers & leggings: measure waist, inseam, clothing length.
For skirts & shorts: measure waist, clothing length.
For tops, shirts, coats & dresses: measure shoulders or one-shoulder length, chest and waist, clothing length.

4. Do you like tight fit or loose fit?
5. Are you looking for clothing for a female or male body? Yes, we need this info to make sure we give you the best size advice (male and female bodies are different and a lot of our clothing is unisex or gender-neutral, all items are suitable for crossdressing).

FOOTWEAR SIZING

We use the European unisex shoe sizing system & we sell footwear based on the brand's European marking.

• Killstar matches EU sizing, and, perhaps runs a bit smaller. If you are in between sizes 38 & 39, please order size 39.
• Demonia brand matches EU size but runs slightly larger. If you are in-between sizes 38 & 39, please order size 38, but only if the shoes aren't narrow or pointy.
• New Rock & Steel boots match the EU sizing. But you are in-between sizes 38 & 39, please order size 39.
• Grinders combat boots are all made for men's feet & run pretty wide. If you are in-between sizes, or if you have narrow feet - choose the smaller size.

Your feet are wide? Are you in between sizes? Always choose a larger size for comfortable walking (if shoes are too large - insert the additional insole).
Combat & Biker boots are usually heavy, your feet will feel good in comfortably loose shoes.

If the shoes you chose have a pointed toe or narrow front, if you have wide ankle & larger calves - consider ordering one size up.

 

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR SHOE SIZE

• Measure the distance between the most prominent toe and the most prominent part of the heel and see the conversion chart above.
• Foot length is measured when you are standing barefoot and the weight of the body is equally distributed on both feet.
• Be sure to have both feet measured. Many people have feet of different sizes. We advise purchasing a shoe size based upon the larger foot.
• Measure your feet at a similar time as when you will be wearing the footwear. For daily footwear, fit yourself when you’ve been on your feet all day because your feet have expanded.

How to choose the size of the ring?

1. Measure the diameter of the ring you own (straight line in the middle of the circle). Check the sizing chart above to see which ring size you need.
2. Or, measure your finger circumference with measuring tape or with a thread:
   Wrap the thread or around your finger until it meets or connects together.
   Make sure that you then mark that connecting position of the thread with a marker or a makeup pen.
   Then place the thread over the ruler and check the length of that piece of thread.
   That is Your finger circumference = ring circumference.
   Check the sizing chart above to see which ring size you need.
