Picking The Size: measure yourself at the waist (the narrowest part) and subtract 10-17 cm/4-7 inches from the number. It all depends on how much compression and shaping you want and your experience level in tight lacing.
Wearing: every new corset of this kind and in general, needs adjusting to your body and your body also needs adjusting to the corset and the pressure it creates, too, so if it`s your first experience keep the lacing more lose than what the garment can give you. Wear it like that for a couple of hours a day, gradually tightening the back, and you will be able to get the gap more and more narrow, eventually reducing it to the minimum and perfectly breaking in the corset. This will prevent the garment from falling apart and your body from experiencing any discomfort.
